    Hi,

I plowed the forum the last couple of days :) I would appreciate it if you could have a look at this results of the McDar tool. I find it hard to interpret the figures.

Here are the results of the search term Erotic art of the Art of Love site,
I have uploaded a small gif, hope it works.

Seems that the problem to get rank higher is in the tekst used in the links pointing to the main site. Could this be the only problem?

The Art of love has all (on most competition) the other aspects much higher.
Any advice or tips would really be nice.

    Hans

I ment if you look at the info from the tool the only thing wrong could be the Allinanchor rating. So trying to get links pointing to my site would inprove the overall ranking? Is this the only factor the numbers show?

Sorry, somtimes I write dutch grammer with english words... especially
    when it's late..

Yep, I'd say all you need is links.

I've got AIA #7 *(should be #2 any day now) for a one word phrase but not even top 1,000 in the SERPs yet... just give it time. ;)

patience is not one of my strongest ...

The site is on from 21 July 2004. One inside page of the site does very well, the others are nowhere to be found.

    http://www.lovechess.nl/artoflove/archives/michel/index.php

this page ranks high on a lot of words. Even made it to the 1e page in google on highly compatative keywords. This was a very populair page ( linked a lot)
but others that were linked even better does not show up. Strange thing that google machine.

It might also be that your banklinks have lots of varying ancor text.

As a newbie in this SEO thing whats an AIA ?

The different ancor text is something you can not really influense I guess.
People come over and link to the articles any way they like.

The AIA should be ok then. Is it just something that will come up in google over time?

Usually yes, it seems that new sites/pages (since March 2004) take longer than existing pages to gain rankings in the actual SERPs. Stick with it and keep getting links and you will move up in Google.

strangly one of my inside pages is showing up at place nr 8 on some really compatetive KW. This would support the idea that there is no such thing as a sanbox mode in google. And that it is more a page optimalization kind a thing.

that page had only 4 backlinks instead of 2400+
