allinanchor and Banners

    Hi.
    I've never used banner ads before and have a newbie question.
    If I was to get ad space on a web site that displayed my banner that linked to my site and uses alt="keyword" .....does that count towards my allinanchor ? Will it help my SERPS for that keyword in Google?

    Yes, if the banner is in the source of the page (and not JavaScript).

    I would think that non-javascript banner ad would count the same as a text link.

    Yes. its equivalent as text link. You can check google cache of that page with show cached text option.
