Well for some reason even my forum seems to be picking up on some good key phrases for real estate this page comes up # 8 for Atlanta Golf Homes. There are several others but this is the one that comes to mind the most

    http://www.atlanta-real-estate-homefinder.com/forum/showthread.php?p=19#post19

My forum is only about 3 or 4 weeks old maybe and this search phrase has over 400k pages

hey nice tool. it's a bit look the google dance tool (that used to reside over at seo-chat) but with bells on.
what i have noticed that, that a high ranking in all three 'allins' doesnt necessarily guarantee a high ranking.

The Results x - xx of about xxxxx is a very rough estimate (notice it says about), in reality it's much lower, and you can actually get a more accurate number by using the Google API.

Done with the API, the result is 2,100,000,000.

Knowing the importance of LINK POPULARITY TO SERPs and SEOs
Google has started showing the same backwards links results

for most Web pages - whether are not they are listed in the SERPs with the WWW

This seems to be only for pages that have a certain minimum number of backwards links or pagerank - but it seem to be for the majority of Web pages listed in Google SERPs

Doesn't work for me... The sites I tested it with are PR6 and PR7 sites with tons of back links. Do you have an example of a site it *does* work with (that it shouldn't otherwise)?

Well besides the first one, every one of those does an HTTP redirect to the www location. So you will see the same back links. Same reason www.optigold.com shows the same 3,800 back links that www.digitalpoint.com does (because it redirects).

Is it better SEO-wise to do a .htaccess redirect than having an A record in your DNS server? (maybe I don't understand)

this apparently works for most sites that use a 301 redirect - apparently if you use a 302 redirect - the pagerank become zero for that original site
    - and the site may be dropped -
because it may be interpreted as spam by Google ...
    (according to SOME theories)

Look at this post about the recent misfortunes of Business.com

I've been doing some checking and my site ranks very well in allinanchor and allintitle, yet is completely missing in allintext for my main keyword of "Aurora real estate". On the other hand, it ranks well for keyword variant "Aurora IL real estate". My page has far more instances of "Aurora real estate" than "Aurora IL real estate" - am I missing something? Why would I rank high for most every other thing, yet be non-existant with allintext for my main keyword?

    Can anyone clue me in?

There are over 270 thousand threads on this board. Do you realize you bumped the 455th one from 2004...? :D

You should re-post your question under Reviews, and include the URL. Also, if you want an SEO specific review, you can ask here.

    Yes, I realize that.

Did you realize that this thread ranks very high for a search for "allintext"?

Don't you think ranking high in a subject indicates relevance and therefore a good place to ask my question? I don't need or want an SEO review - I want to understand more about how "allintext" works. I've been a member of many forums for many years - I've never been called out on the first post anywhere before and never for bumping an old post relevant to my question.

You should think about that and how your post might appear to new members of your community.

Yes, but with this many threads, bumping old threads on a subject that has been discussed repeatedly on this forum can't be tolerated. Information changes over time, and there is great data here on allins, just search it out.
If you must post, you could have started a new thread, and simply referenced this one.

The fact that this thread ranks only means this is a great forum for such questions.

Hey, you're the new kid. Of course you're gonna get a hard time, Mister Rogers. :D

Do you have the term "Aurora real estate". in quotes for clarification or is it exactly that way on the site - it could be the quotes - or those exact words may not be in the body text in that exact order
