Holy hell... the U.S. Congress doesn't know what's about to hit them -- full force contact with reality.

    Way to go Colonel West!

Comes across as an arrogant rapper to me. He should turn those lyrics into a song.

Put him to Auto-Tune. There is a popular sentiment amongst liberals that patriotic Americans are arrogant. You can see it in comments like the one on the other thread that called the 3 year old child who knew the pledge of allegiance "Indoctrinated". You should check out Marco Rubio's acceptance speech. He sums up the problem nicely.

Tsk tsk tsk... such a display of racist rhetoric! Just because he's a black man and he's speaking does not make him a rapper. What, you have never heard of Vanilla Ice and Eminem?

I wish more American politicians shared the same message as Allen West!

It has more to do with his accent, tone, words and overall way of speaking. He'll make a good rapper, he should get in touch with HollywoodRecords.

Nice to see some serious candidates instead of Jimmy McMillan and Alvin Greene. Btw, how did Alvin Greene get 28.2% of the vote? The guy lives in his parents basement and is unemployed.

The same way Barack Obama got all those votes: racism and party affiliation.

I think that it is ignorance. But you have a point, racism is based on ignorance.

Alvin Greene's stimulus proposal put South Carolina back to work was to make Alvin Greene "action dolls". Now that's plain stupid.

C'mon gentlemen we all know that race , gender & religion play a huge role in elections . This is why sometimes a minority keeps the majority hostage .

Interesting charge, but a little research paints an interesting and perhaps disturbing picture

    1. Alvin Greene, from all appearances is a high functioning autistic who happens to be black
    2. 29.83% of S. Carolina's population is black.
    3. Mr. Greene got 28.2% of the vote
    4. Roughtly 80% of black people voted for him.
    5. Another 10% of black people voted for the green party candidate
    6. Roughly 80% of remaining non-black voters voted for DeMint
    7. Most of the remaining 20% of non-black voters voted for the green party candidate(Democrats to the last I'm sure)

I'd say the take away is a black candidate is going to get 80% of the black vote if he is god awful, and 97% of it if he is qualified. Conversely, Barrack Obama got well over 50% of the white vote in the 2008 presidential election. Smells like racism to me.

On the bright side, a conservative black candidate could put all that racism to work for the good of the American people. Condi Rice for President anyone?

Of course they do, but not to this extent. Meg Whitman, for instance, got just under 50% of the female vote in California against her Male counterpart.

When it comes to money there's no such thing as racism. The color of everyone's money is green. So, the more economic activity, the more people will be able to work together.

    1. Greene is considering a run for President of the United States in 2012 as a "The Rent Is Too Damn High Party" candidate. Greene hopes to be able to move out of his father's basement and into the White House. Either way he won't be paying any rent.

I suspect that group will chose ideology over race. It will put them in a very awkward position.

I think that the Democrats will have to let them join, then they will just ignore them.

You called that one right. The lower socio-economic voters just have no idea what they are voting for. Jimmy McMillan a.k.a "The Rent Is Too Damn High Party" had the wrong message. I listened to an interview with him on a local radio station prior to the election and he was all praise for the Obama failed stimulus spending. He just doesn't grasp that rents are too high, because taxes are too high.

If more African-Americans start voting Republican, they can empower their local communities to prosper economically.

It's just crazy the way the system is set-up. Crime is out of control in the inner cities and at the same time the US is spending billions of dollars employing security firms to "touch your junk". What's the sense spending the time and money to touch people junk on domestic flights, when you have no border security.
