Thanks for finding that....now go read it based on your two last statements.

We are not trying to paint islam in a bad light, muslims do it for us...again, when responding to your posts with a legitimate answer, to you I am off topic...when you respond with a non-legitimate answer and we call you out on it, you get mad....you can't have your cake if you eat it...make up your mind on what you want....

as it stands, you continue to help us show how islam paints a bad light on itself...you don't find people in the USA running around shouting "Alllahu Akbar!" and then shooting people in the back of the head, but what you di find is a whole lot of people on this forum who tend to stick up for those that do do that.

I'll eat my cake, otherwise you might eat it;)

Of course you and Gtech et al are going to refuse to see islam in anything but a negative light, so no matter how much I 'paint islam in a bad light' or a good light you won't accept it, so me trying is just pointless. You have formed your opinion and are unwilling to change it.

Just because people 'paint Islam in a good light' doesn't mean they stick up for these people running aroiund shooting people in the back of the head. Everyone knows terrorism is wrong and most (apart from terrorists) think its wrong, but then again you don't want us to believe that.

There is no point in me trying to explain anything about Islam as you will refuse to change your opinion, so in future I shan't bother ;)

I have yet to see you paint islam in a good light...instead what I see is you sticking up for the same religion that executes people in the name of God...if you want to be differentiated from this, then paint islam in a good light, start renouncing the terrorists and their actions, instead of sticking up for them.

Personally, I don't believe any of it. To believe in islam, one must ask and answer a reasonable question:

"What the hell pissed God off so much that six hundred years after sending his son who lived a perfect life and preached true peace, healed the sick, performed miracles and offered love to everyone, did he decide to open dialogue with a man who couldn't read or write and tell him to take off across the world converting others by force to islam?" It's really that simple. When one compares the savageness of mohammad to the peacefulness of Jesus, one must wonder why the messages were so different. Why were the Jews God's chosen people, but with islam, Jews are ostricized?

I didn't claim she wrote it. She narrated it:

The Hadith, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64:
    http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/hadithsunnah/bukhari/062.sbt.html#007.062.064
Again, if you want to call the wife of mohammad a liar, by all means, be my guest. Surely "allah" will be pleased ;)

So all this hatred about Islam boils down to the fact that you can't understand why God chose Mohammed as a prophet just like he chose Jesus?

All this nonsense about Muhammed being 'savage', 'ruling by the sword' really is pathetic and the Jews are not ostricized in Islam.

The thing is that Islam is straight forward unlike christianity, where you just need blind faith to believe in the stupid idea of the so called trinity. Jesus was a PERSON, God is not a person, he never was and never will be,And Jesus is not the son of God. If you really think about it its obvious that it doesn't make sense.
What was Jesus playing a trick when he told everyone to worship God, he wasn't letting on that he in actual fact was God? And you lot only realised after he'd gone that was in actual fact God himself? Jesus asked you to worship God not Jesus himself.

Oh and by the way the messages were the same they are just portrayed different. changed over time to suit the needs of man.

It was because 600 years after Jesus, the world had become exactly the same like it was before he came, the message brought by Jesus was being forgotten, So God sent down another prophet to give the same message, but the same thing has happened again.

I can't wait till judgement day when you shall see the truth for yourself, no automatic guaranteed entry into heaven for anyone then!!!

He does seem oddly interested in "father/son" relationships. Not to mention his new found interest in my balls last week. That was strangest thing I've seen here yet, and that includes AGS' kooky posts.

Until we all learn to love each other, I've got some advice - leave us alone.

I take this as a lack of "spiritual knowledge and wisdom". Very common for many believers. Everyone with a little spiritual knowledge knows that the human body is the "house" for the soul .....etc.

    Without personal offense:
One thing many people with common sense will agree that a 50 plus year old man can help poor little girls age 9 and up without marrying them.

Another thing, the Divine teachers don't care about Earthly things like "political marriages, treaties with tribes, wars to conquer cities etc....".
-The Divine teachers don't order killings and hand amputations. They bring people to life, and heal the sick......"

There is much more about the Divine, that I don't have the time to talk about now, but anyone can find it on the internet.

I strongly doubt, that God would send another prophet/Divine teacher to deliver completely different teaching in just about 600 years later He sent Jesus. And Christianity has not been applied yet.

It is very hard for me to accept that Islam gives better ideas than Jesus’ "Love your enemies, love each other, love your neighbor like yourself".

Show me one or a few Divine ideas from Muhammad? I would like to learn something good.

I take this as you are full of it. When you die, it is finished. There is no God, there is no "soul", just accept it and get over it.

Still believe that do you?, that must mean you believe the whole of the Hadith as well, Do believe the Quran as well?

Just accept it God DID send another prophet, and that prophet was Muhammed. This God is not Jesus and nor is Jesus is the son of God. Anyone with a bit of common sense and not following with blind faith can see that this trinity theory is a load of.....

But hey why do I care, you quite obviously don't want to change your negative view of Islam, You'll see on judgement day when Jesus will ask you why you worshipped him instead of God,you'll see what the truth is then....
