I think everyone from that era, myself included, earned a ton from AA back then. Will they succeed now? I guess it depends on the model. Is it going to be same deal, get paid to watch ads while you surf?
Just tell all your friends, that's what I did and they signed up, and *promised* to download the toolbar.
If you want to make some decent money, telling your friends isn't enough. You should do some marketing as for any other website and try to get more people to sign up.
I quess the easiest way go get more referrals (if you don't have a website with a decent traffic or a large mailing list) is to post on forums with a link in your signature. I managed to get 72 referrals in about 12 days from posting (about 1h/day) on forums. What I like to most is that you don't need to post on a niche forum. Agloco targets almost everyone. Aside from my posts on DP (I advertise my Agloco website here because I read this forum 2-3 time a day) I also post on myspace on a sport forum and on netscape groups in a car section. Conversion rate is pretty much the same. So you should advertise in forums that you participate on a daily basis, it shouldn't matter the niche. One piece of advice I could give you: do not put your affiliate link in your signature, because it may be considered spam. Instead make a landing page and advertise that. You could also get some free search engine traffic this way.
I signed up, would be nice if there was a easier way to make alot of $ tho, like have one master account and have everyone referal it. then split $ lol.
I have 2 high traffic sites but the conversion isn't good. 30k daily and I've gotten 2 signups in 2 days. Any other pointers for that?
Have you guys read it though, you don't get paid anything, you get shares in the company that may or may not become worth money, and then IF they have access cash then it will be distributed between members, I am not saying that it couldn't make money... just its a lot different from all advantage, maybe it will last because they don't promise to pay anything. lol, "You rank in the top 16.23% of all members" and i joined just 5 minutes ago, that means over 80% are tied at 0
How big is the forum? I own a forum with 40,000 posts, a lot of my posts are stickies, and I don't get that many signups.
The forums are not that big. One thing I forgot to mention is that my referrals also sign up other people. Up to this day I have 24 direct referrals and 56 extended.
I have the same amount of direct referrals as extended. It's fun trying to keep up Why did they have to call it a toolbar? It's putting people off! It should be a 'promotional window', etc.
Has anyone found they don't get referrals during some periods / haven't got any today? or that their rank rises without getting referrals?
