Can you PM me the Web site URL that's doing this garbage? I'll be busy the rest of the week, but next week I should have the time to look into it.

That was a really great post, this was the second time I read it. Having a blog on your website is great too, because it enables you to continuously add content, which Google likes. Any website can have a blog. My blog, http://www.eastcoastairsoft.com/blog, is in conjunction with my e-commerce site.

(Mods, please do not warn/infract seopositions for bumping the thread. I'm cool with the thread being bumped given the nature of the thread as a quality resource.)

Thanks, glad you liked it. The rewrite ended up covering so much I don't know if I'd be able to fit it in a forum thread so I've decided to start a Web site dedicated to teaching real SEO.

First, thanks for the detail in your post.

Much of the conceptual stuff (write copy that relates to the topic, pick a topic people search on, etc.) I can follow, but there's no chance I'll be optimizing HTML any time soon (my skills stretch only to italicizing and bolding comments).

I'm considering buying a Site Build It (SBI / Sitesell) subscription for this purpose. The benefit seems to be a hardcore focus on organic SEO, despite a clunky interface. In addition, the WordTracker tool for figuring out what keywords might be worth using seems to be worth money.

The part where they help you design a site easily is meaningless to me, as is the hosting and domain name registration. And the people I know who use SBI seem to use Google Analytics for site analysis anyway.

But I really, really do need help making it SEO-friendly from the start and tracking keywords.

In your humble opinion, is what SBI does on the SEO front valuable? And if not, are there other tools that are better?

I'm not especially price sensitive, but I'm horribly time sensitive. :)
