I was just wondering if you guys know anything about a diet where you'd just drink water. I mean me cutting back 1-3 pops a day and juice or chocolate milk will affect my weight loss definately. But if I drank only: Milk at breakfast (I work out and need calcium to grow my muscles -> maybe get shakes or diet pills to replace missing calcium) and water for the rest of the day. Do you guys think this would help me lose more weight? I'm 145 lbs, 5'6" (approx). I already lost 54lbs but still more to go Thanks, Last Level Writing Services
Cutting down or eliminating pop is a good idea (they're like over 100 calories a pop!). Have you heard of the negative calories diet It's even better! Good luck on your goal.
You need protein to grow muscle, not calcium. Also, you need extra calories to grow muscle. If you are starving, there is no way to grow. and these kind of extreme diet is bad for you. If your calories went too low, your body slow down metabolism. Once you start eating again, your body will store extra fat. That call yo yo effect. Replace all your drink with green tea, eat small meal six time a day and workout regularly you will be fine
You need a lot of calcium to help your body flow right and if you dont get enough you dont get your full workout cause you dont stretch as much as you should. If you get the right amount of calcium everything works together and with a good sleep you will be growing more. I wrote an article related to this lol I'm not just drinking water to grow muscle - its mostly for weight. My main goal is to lose weight - then cut.
It's basically eating negative calorie foods (fruits and veggies) because your body uses up more calories to digest the food than the actual caloric value of the food.. so you lose calories/weight as you eat But.. it's kind of controversal in a sense? Worth a shot because it's healthy, low in fat and filled with vitamins http://www.weightlossforall.com/negative-calorie-foods-list.htm
try cabbage soup diet However, if you want to grow muscle at the same time, negative calories is not for you
You need EVERYTHING to build up everything (that goes for muscles too). Actually, vegetable shakes would work better than water.
Oh right, I neglected the fact that he's (male right?) is trying to build muscles. So yeah. But for girls.. I've heard of the cabbage soup diet but.. has anyone tried it? Does it actually work? Theres a grape fruit one too lol
if you are female you dont want to loose more than another 10-15 at the most, much more and you need to seek professional help from a Dr, and you have a medical issue, not a weight issue
lol - on The Biggest Loser tv show someone tried the cabbage soup diet, didnt work TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT: I AM A MALE, I HAVE A WANG lol
Very true, it's best to look at the BMI (your weight and height ratio is perfectly natural!) Also, it's okay to gain some weight while getting slimmer (muscle weights more than fat )
No no no. To get a six pack you gotta lose weight in the stomach area. So.... Do more ab workouts while dieting - lose weight and more of it in that area After you get to the ideal weight, cut Bulking is only for heavy bodybuilders, if I bulked it wouldnt work because of my frame, i basically have to cut, even then i'd look weird lol
Calcium is good for the bones and for muscle contraction, but to grow muscle mass you need protein. I don't care if you wrote 1 or 10000 articles about it
I never said it grows muscles - it helps it grow muscles - it helps your workout - having no calcium will make your workout weak and you wont really grow muscles
no it's hard to wrap my legs around a matchstick see above, and i dont think any man should be under 140Ib
I agree that you are proportionate where you are now, but understand if you are trying to firm what you have. I'm no expert but this is what worked for me - as a female. I'm fortunate to have always been on the slim side, but have always had to fight my stomach. I do 5 small meals a day and keep fats and carbs separate for the most part (once had ideal weight, I added in small amt of whole wheat carbs to fat meals). When I eat carbs, they are 100% whole wheat whenever possible. Combined that with exercise (mostly abs - but not just crunches) and plenty of water and finally managed to flatten my stomach back to college days (15 years ago). I have not, however, tried for the 6 pack. Congrats on the weight you have lost! It's a great indicator that you will reach your final goal. Christy
