what is you guys' all time favorite song? Mine is Against All Odds by phil Collins. My friends say "that song is gay" but I love it...I am secure enough to take it It takes me back in time bigtime.. I thought I ask! Mike
I like a Phil Collins song too. The "I can feel it comin' in the air tonight..." one. And yeah, I get made fun of for that! If I was forced to listen to just one song for the rest of my life it would be Blackened by Metallica.
Hotel California - Eagles I like a lot of the R&B/Soul music from the 70s and a lot of other music in general, but Hotel California is my all time fav.
Wow. Let's see. Hmm. Song(s)? down the dolce vita - Peter Gabriel. Lamb lies down on broadway - Genesis Wind and wuthuring - Genesis Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson Horse with no name - America Anything Legacy: Deep Purple, Frank Zappa and Elton John Oh my but I'm reliving high school!
Pre-90's - Pretty much anything by U2 Recently - Roger Sanchez - Another Chance Now - The Chemical Brothers - Galvanize
Back in the 80's: Old school Electro! 90's: all dancemusic from MAW http://www.mawrecords.com/ Kenny Dope & Little Louie are the bomb! I'm more into jazz now http://www.bluenote.com/ Not really one favourite song..
Pink Floyd: Us & Them, Time, Eclipse, Another Brick in the Wall, Comfortably Numb, Fearless, Sheep, PotW, Wish you were here, Shine on you Crazy Diamond, Waiting for the Worms, The Trial, Vera, Run Like Hell, Have a Cigar Alice Walker: School's out for Summer Led Zepplin: Hey Lady, The Immigrant Song, Dream On (or was that Aerosmith?) I had many, so I decided to name some of my favorites.
Tooo many songs that I like, but here is my myspace list of artists (Still not got it finished yet, but it's a start)... The Kills The Futureheads Bloc Party At the Drive In The Mars Volta Kasabian The Strokes Fun Lovin' Criminals 2 Many DJ's 4Hero Amy Winehouse The Beastie Boys Basement Jaxx The Chemical Brothers The Music Faithless Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin The Doors Interpol Jamiroquai Jane's Addiction The White Stripes Kyuss Queens of the Stone Age The Streets The Stone Roses SoundGarden Morcheeba Lamb Massive Attack The Prodigy Nitin Sawhney Red Hot Chilli Peppers The Zutons Razorlight Ours A Perfect Circle Tool Moguai Badly Drawn Boy The Libertines Joy Division The Cure The Who Jeff Buckley Incubus Gomez Goldfrapp Elbow Doves Biffy Clyro Capdown System of a Down Bob Dylan The Roots Velvet Revolver Aphex Twin Franz Ferdinand Hundred Reasons The Concretes Kings of Leon Radiohead Lots of Drum and Bass... But it's missing a lot... I'm real into my Pink Floyd (Got the whole back catalogue), but recently I've been listening to a lot of indie... Bloc Party are real good, as are The Concretes, but right now I'm listening to Belle and Sebastian. The Zutons are good fun too... Zuton Fever is a great track... Anyway - no fave track, lots of fave artists
my GOD! you must be a more of a music enthusiast that I suspected...interesting how an expression which appeals to one sense often carries much more force than movies and even fully sensual experiences.
Well I'm not sure about that... Sex is great too (But I know what you're saying - I couldn't live without music... I'm always listening to something... I have an earphone in my ear when no one else wants to hear music at work, and the HiFi goes on as soon as I finish work...)
I've always got my headphones on. I don't want to force my music on other people, especially after enduring my flatmate's horrible music. I don't know what he listens to, but almost all of it is bad, poorly performed, knee deep, and painfully emo. And he likes to blast it. Besides, I've got The Wall on almost all of my playlists, and certain parts of that album you just don't want to play around certain people. cough...cough...waiting for the worms...I've seen that grossly misinterpreted. I really don't need a black eye.
We're talking about good music... Not some lame commercial wannabe gangsta rap (Referring to fiddy)...
