ALL things that one should know about directories

    Hello friends I am new in this section of DP.Please help me to find out answers of these questions-

    - Why one should submit his/her site to directories ?

    - Can we submit blog to directories ?

    - Can we submit a site belonging to USA in the directories of UK or Australia and vice versa ?

    -Is this necsessary that we must submit sites to DMOZ ?

    if yes, Is there any tip you know which help us proper submission of sites in directories like DMOZ which help in fast approval of the site we are submitting .

    - There are free and paid directories , Whats is the benefit of paid directories on free ? Can't we only depend on free directory ?

    - I heard about Fast approval free directories in DP .Are they really fast and how much it take , Any estimation ( on the basis your personal experience ) ?
