If I create 5000 blogs on multiple class c's across multiple datacenters at the push of a button all posting relevant, non intrusive information, how will G ever find out?

Them finding out has nothing to do with whether it's white or black.

Well. I definitely disagree that SEO is blackhat.
I think about linking (for example) as books referring to one another. You know when you open up a book and it has a section where the author says thanks to the one who has inspired him/her. This works as if the book/author being referred to is the great content by the new site.

Kind of natural way to bring out whats good out there.

If you have the knowledge of creating a Google Bomb I think you deserve to be in Google. There are ways to do it without spam like Adobe did with "click here"

"Hey forum members I'll trade links with you"

"Ok I link you and you link me"

    "Deal"

You aren't referring anyone to a website you found and enjoy, you are trading links to game the SE's which is against their rules, acceptable practices, etc. Not following rules is generally deemed immoral or unethical. You can't say you are against breaking rules of google but only the ones that are beyond your taste. Either you are a rule breaker or you are not.

Wtf does this have to do with Adobe? It's not their fault that webmasters are too inept to know that using "click here" is stupid.

"click here" isn't a Google Bomb, it's the result of webmasters being too inept to come up with a proper label for links.

    its hard to say.

things like "miserable failure" that lead to George W Bushes page and "liar" leading to tony blair websites have disappeared. But I think that has been done manually as google ranking system still depends on incoming links with the right title.

"click here" might not have been designed as a google bomb, but it sure has an effect of one. Guys at Adobe really know what they are doing

Oh dear God. I said it has NOTHING to do with Adobe itself. OTHER webmasters link to Adobe with that term, so they rank for it. Those OTHER webmasters are too INEPT to come up with a proper term. Now stop this bs.

    hehe. alright

i typed INACT and then tried to edit to INEPT but there is a bug in this forum script that thought I was trying to insert URL (for some reason) which I cannot do since I am a new user (apparently).

Wow, this thread is getting a little off topic as to the orignal topic of whether you agree with the post over at Profit Geek or not. Just wondering who voted and what did you vote for?
