    Placement looks pretty good.

    One thing I might try is using blue titles (like your links in the blog posts) instead of black, because all that black blends in a bit too much. It would be worth a test run.

    Just a follow-up to MTbiker's suggestion.

    The url color really hurts on the eyes, try changing it to light gray or something similar.

    your blending looks good but you must think about adding one link unit above your caregories
