    I think you got the payment on Oct 1st that may be the reason for reversal.

    Because its after 26th september.

    dont worry people! i think paypal will only reverse over $500 payments only from oct 1, not for previous months.
    anybody got reversal for september $500+ payment? please post..

    Update: Still now only the Oct 1st payment stays reversed. I was told and also given transactions #'s of all the big payments from the month of Sept that were to be reversed by them but so far so good. Let's hope that they don't do any more reversals. I will update once I get reversals from the month of Sept.

    I feel only 26th sep onwards payments can be reveresed but who know Paypal. They can do anything they like ,even an ideat programmer their can do testing on our hard earn money and Paypal will not even let us know for months.

    Few of ideats things they did in past:
    1)Reveresed all personal payments which by mistake they included business and service payments too - They never admit mistakes
    2)For 1 month they did not execute withdraw - 2 times in 2 years - they never told customers
    3)Reversing 500$ transactions now
    4)Now they can reverese transaction which People did not withdraw in 7 days time as they said in Feb but never implemented - Be prepared for this!

    Is it only experience from Indian PayPal users?.. How about other Asian PayPal users?..
    They must have notice beforehand or even a formal explanation. This is no joke.

    The only option left would be ask your client/buyer to send the money via Wire Transfer.

    LOGICALLY AND ETHICALLY SPEAKING, SHITPAL should not accept payment >500USD in indian SHITPAL accounts, just like they enforce/don't allow anything , which is not allowed, after Sept 26th
    THEY ARE/WERE NEVER A ETHICAL COMPANY. Proof galore in forums /websites!
    They screw customers, one way or other, if not now , then later!


    They have in fact been bragging about 500USD rule long before Sept 26 email and stuff. It was to be implemented back in april-may. They didn't implement it , so customers will OF COURSE do their transactions the usual way, irrespective of amount.

    Now in spite of that , if SHITPAL reverses payments after sept 26, IT IS JUST TO MINT MONEY FROM USD INR rates, etc (I HIGHLY BELIEVE in that...given the fact that they are not removing limitations and delaying them for no reason at all)
    and
    In case they go ahead with REVERSING PAYMENTS of previous months too , which is no way YET Emailed or Documented or Published by them anywhere, THEN ONLY A SCAM COMPANY, WHICH HAS NO ETHICAL RULES TO FOLLOW, will do so!
    (UNLIKELY IMO, but who knows... how cheap SHITPAL guys can become)

    and now since yesterday, It's confirmed they are not allowing clients to pay more $500 in one go, so it's implemented and I can confirm the same from multiple clients.

    Also update: so far only the Oct 1st payment stands reversed and nothing else.

    Knowing this problem i have been already splitting the payments since last two months, with paypal it is never easy to take chance.

    2checkout is too costly a payment gateway to use, almost charges double that of what paypal charges.
