It could be a reason to remove OR low ranking of any site in Google????

The only thing they have in common is that they have AdSense on.

Some of the sites are listed in my Google Webmaster account, but not all of them. And the sites without AdSense from my Google Webmaster account are working just like normal (i.e. they are the index, etc.)

    Thats is so much scarry.

It has happened to my sites also but not all at one time. Still I will advice that do not do anything for say a day or two then start with removing adsense stuff etc.

My sites were back with 48 hours.

Only a few of my sites have not so natural links - and sites with such links, but no AdSense are still in the index.

I don't think it's because of the links, everything points to AdSense being the cause. Just don't have a clue why Google would drop all my sites with AdSense, but nothing else (dropping everything but the sites with AdSense would make far more sense).

I have declared two of my sites to be testers:
    - Site A used to have AdSense and isn't indexed anymore. I have just removed the AdSense from it, so we will see if it gets back.
    - Site B didn't have AdSense and is indexed. I have just added AdSense to it, so we will see if it disappears.

Somebody who have been in the same boat? Please tell me more about it, did you just sit tight and then your sites came back in the index?

Did you access Google Webmaster Tools to see the status of your sites while they were gone?

Maybe Mr G is starting to try to deindex MFA sites.

Would make sense, do a basic search for anything and most of the results shows MFA sites..

They are not MFA sites, but some of them are niche sites (around 10 pages, but it's all handwritten and relevant content). A few of the sites are relatively big sites (50+ pages).

    What do you mean?

They are domains from 2-3 different domain controllers and they domains still work in MSN and Yahoo.
