Yep, I get almost all of my adsense clicks in the morning. After about noon, I hardly get anything. I still get plenty of traffic as the day goes on (well, plenty for my little dumb sites), but they don't click. Why is that???? Do morning people just like to click? My theory is that they are still asleep and don't realize that they are clicking on dumb ads. What do you think? Do you notice more clicks in certain times of the day? I know you big dawgs have a global business, so you probably get steady traffic 24 hours a day. But do any of you fellow little pups see a pattern? This bugged me today. When I woke up I saw that I was almost at a daily record for me. I must have checked 50 more times as my boring day went on. From noon until after midnight, I only got two more clicks, so I didn't set a personal record. Grrrr.... Have fun all!!
I don't see any specific clicking pattern with regard to time. My clicks are spread through out the day. It is strange that you are getting clicks mostly in the morning. Hope, you are getting enough clicks at least in the morning to make your earning worthy.
It is strange huh? All my traffic is in the U.S. Well, almost all of it. I just don't get why all the clicks are in the morning when the traffic is steady (although small) all day long. Enough money? lol Well.... lol
Majority of my visitors are from US, Canada and other European countries but I'm from India. I get my clicks at night, that's because it's day in US/europe when it's night in India. maybe the same is happening to you. Find out where your visitors are located.
Yeah, you must get a lot of clicks from one specific country which is "awake" while you're in the morning.
"Do morning people just like to click?" Yeah may be because its hard to open the eyes and they don't know where they are clicking
I believe your site is hacked. The hackers are lazzy guys and they get up late. They replace you code with their and before to return to bed, they restore you code. I am serious, all that is automated by scripts.
Neat idea. I don't think that's the answer though. I have sites spread out on multiple platforms. No way they could find all of them. Funny idea though. I guess that does happen.
You probably get the best ads displayed in the morning, then when those campaigns are done with you get served with crap ads that people dont want to click.
Good idea. That may be true on some sites. My main site (the Cajun 1 in sig) doesn't deal with that for sure. The same primary advertisers are always on there.
Niches= food, travel, sports, tech, medical, legal I don't think that plays a role in it. But maybe I'm wrong??
I get my peak traffic at around 8-10:30 and thats when all of my clicks happen basically. I run 2 proxy sites + a forum. My site has a PR of 3, which sucks i guess i dunno... It exceeds it's CPU quota alot, im saving for about 4 months worth of a dedicated server + some scripts so that i can make more and always be up. My goal is to afford a 174 a month server + make 50 dollars in profits at the minimum to start with, hopefully rising as i get larger. Im planning on running a paid proxy that works with basically ALL websites that i can code for. Also planning on making a proxy list + a news letter you can pay to be in. Adsense will be my 50 a month profit, the server costs will be covered via the paid proxy + proxy list + news letter. =)
