Ok, I have a tech and gadget blog, and someone here paid me (he actually never did, but he was supposed to) to write an article for their high tech cat door. Then I added ads and all the ads were about cat doors and not the other technology. Then I took the article down and all the ads are still about cat doors. How do I fix this? None of my users want cat doors! The only other reason I can think of is because why you go to another page the url looks like this: http://www.illmcnasty.com/?cat=45 can someone please help, my site is: http://illmcnasty.com
hi dillmando, you should change your permalinks in the wordpress to show titles and not numbers. here is kind of an old video from 2.5 to show you how. http://wordpresstraining.com/videos/install-and-configure/configuring-wordpress-options-permalinks/ you need to learn more about plug-ins and this will also help. sometimes it takes google a week or two for new blogs to settle down and put in relative ads on your website
Changing the permalinks would help in SEO. About your Ads, dog and cat doors are really niche ads, google took a lot of effort giving it to you Give it some time.. and u will start getting more targetted ads.. For the permalinks: Go to Setting (Left hand menu, bottom) Then --> Permalinks then in the common setting --> Click Custom STructure and in the text box past this /%postname%/
To get relevant ads, you should do section targeting. And you can add some more relevant content in your site. Content, about which you would like to see the ads.
I'm guessing it like a a doggy door. a door (usually in a normal door) made so you pet can walk in and out of your house any time it wants
was that article on the front page. you need to wait for the adsense bot to return and see there is nothing about pet doors. lol does that high tech cat door open like the doors on star trek? ::swoosh::
