This website was passed on to me www.bombislam.com where our prophet and Allah are being laughed at and being portrayed as >>evil.... my friend has started a petition to close down the website.. if you are willing to help.. forward this message to other muslims to also start a petition. please check out www.bombislam.com and you will see the problem with this website. thank you.


Please Advice what kind of legal action and reporting can be done to shut down this hating website against Muslims.

 

Dont know if there is any kinda law regarding that.. but for me.. we better keep religion out of internet.. It also seems ridiculous to start such sites as you mentioned.

I think if we all send them mail to dehost that site from there server, will work.

Also, the domain is registered at tucows.com ,,, we must inform them too

They should have called it www.blameislam.com

laws as sarahk suggested, it won't be shut down as some people desire.

Given that, what's to stop someone from demanding your site be shut down?

No one's compelled to believe anything a site like that says. One can always
put up another putting Muslims in a positive light.

But...people are free to spend their time in whatever way they see fit.

It refers to the First Amendment to the United States Constitution -- the beginning of the Bill of Rights:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.​

No one who would name their service "1ST-AMENDMENT.NET" is going to listen to a bunch of kooks who want to ban free speech.

Furthermore, this web site in hosted in the United States, where it is legally protected by the First Amendment -- which documents our most important civil rights.

This is the most sacred of all of our rights, we do not treat it lightly nor do we give it up in response to foreign threats.

I do not support the website mentioned, but it is high time muslims learn tolerance. Just to put my view, there is not even a single country where a good number of muslims live peacefully with another religion. From Philipinse to Thailand India to India to Even europe and UK, muslims are seriously involved in terrorist activities. And add the mulim dominated countries(afghan, saudi and more) where even basic human rights of other communities are violated.

Such kind of total lack of respect for people of other religion(kafirs/infidels as you call them) is the basic reason for such hate based sites. Unless you open up and understand that infidels(!) are also huyman being, do not expect the perception of an average non muslim to change.

Sorry if this hurts anyone. If mods decide to remove this thread, i will be the first person to support it. Keep religion to yourself, digitalpoint is not a place for such discussion.

 

Im pretty sure what the site is doing is legal. I only looked at it for a couple of seconds, but it does not seem like they are "hurting" anybody, at least not physically. They are giving their "opinion" and no matter how wrong it is, it is protected by the 1st. It's like the 1st amendment still allows the KKK to meet. But then again, im 16, so get a lawyer, and talk it over with him.

this type of sites shouldn't be allowed to be hosted.i think he is just tryint to create a buzz. he will get some support but mostly he will be opposed by the muslims and also by the moderate ones. caz no one want racial discriminations or violence.if ppl r so interested to knw where the site is then y just do a who.is lookup.

because that one doesnot make any profit ... it goes under the law of "Freedom of Speech", but if that person start making profit from it, than it would be slander / libel
