A friend of mine once had an online business that was selling All-Inclusive vacations. The domain he was using was www . all - inclusive . com , which dates back from 1995 (the age of the domain). He sold the business. Now, he would like to start his business again. He created a new site on a new domain that only contains the keyword "vacation" and is new (2009). But, he still has a domain www. all - inclusive - discout - vacations . com, which dates back from 2003 and contains more keywords. Using Alexa for the first domain, I found out that it gets it's most visitors for the keywords "all inclusive vacations", so probably it would be better to use the domain from 2003. The site he created is pretty basic, based on Wordpress to add new pages for each resort he adds on the site. The site is www . fox vacations . com What do you think of the site so far ? How would you improve it ? Another thing that I would really need help on, is how to do the marketing for the business, to bring more potential clients to the site. If you could give me some ideas, I would be grateful. He is willing to invest money to launch his business again, so don't hesitate to come up with things even if they cost money. Here are things that I have in mind, though, I'm not sure how good they are, please correct me if I am wrong: - use the www . all - inclusive - discout - vacations . com, because it dates back from 2003 and contains more keywords - get some initial paid traffic in the first few months, to rank higher in Google (don't know if that works though) - banners, to get targeted traffic - adwords - probably pay some people to post reviews on their blogs/sites, again to get targeted traffic and have more sites linking to this business, thus helping the ranks on Google - directory submissions ? - I don't really know how this works but I think I have a basic idea about it I don't know how well these things would work, I am open to your suggestions guys
