I found this topic on wordpress where some users are not recommending and using All In One seo plugin because it is taking too much server resources and is poorly written plugin. Do you face any problem using this plugin? does your host say something about it that you should un-install it to avoid heavy server use?
It just shows that you can not believe everything you read and how important it is to pick a good host. If it was so poorly written then there would not be so many people using it. It works, I use it and have been for a very long time. It's a great plugin. All Time 4,324,454 downloads!!!
It is one of the most downloaded and popular wordpress plugin and i use it on my all wordpress blogs. But then these days Premium theme publishers like studiopress and Thesis themes guys are offering inbuilt seo options, and even on post publish page as well, so in that case this plugin is not required anymore.

I've always used All-In-One-SEO and have no problems. Though I have considered Platinum SEO and HeadSpace because of the buzz I hear about them, why fix something that isn't broken, right? jonathonhewitt's post has got me thinking though...those features might be nice, but will I really use them. Maybe I will check it out more someday. For now, I'm happy with AIO-SEO and will probably continue to use it unless someone here has more reason to switch.
