all-in-one-seo-pack plugin reason for my blog down

My blog http://www.articles2u.com down daily half hour for 3 days. I contact my hosting service provider DreamHost.

They replied "It could be that its a combination of a high traffic period of the day and one of your plugins interacting in such a way that your site stops responding. I would recommend that you disable all of your plugins except for Akismet and WP Super Cache and then see if this happens for you again tomorrow. If it doesn't, then one of those plugins was likely causing the problem. In particular, I would recommend that you disable the all-in-one-seo-pack plugin for sure."

I have very less number of plugin (Different Posts Per Page, WP-PageNavi, Link Indication, related post, one for youtube video, sitemap, all in one seo, aksismet). Wp super cache already removed.

If i disable all-in-one-seo-pack plugin, my blog SE traffic affected.

Please help me solve this problem...

Well I don't think so that plugin may effect it. I had no problem to use it on my blogs and there thousands of blogs using this plugins! If you want to test it, then disable it for 1 days see what happen! Did you updated latest version of plugin?

All In One SEO has just been recently updated like a few days ago. As for "Dreamhost" I recall having issues installing WP on their sites on a few occasions. I remember thinking to myself Nightmare instead of Dream. Did they even look into the server your site is on? The response seems typical laziness to blame the scripts and not their servers or server settings.

The All-In-One-SEO plugin Version 1.6.4 works find with wordpress 2.8.3 i have had no issues with this plugin since wordpress just upgraded to 2.8.3. In fact 3 other mods of mine have not been updated since wordpress version 2.7 and i have no issues on my blog.

If you are waitin for the plugin owner to update his mod, then you maybe waiting for weeks to month's. Not to many pluging owners update there mods and yet most of them work fine with newer wordpress version's. You may have an additional plugin that you did not mention here that's the cause.

Edit to add, i'm using HG for my host and no issues running the blog. This could be a host issue.

May be the problem is with host.
Why don't you change your host and use Hostgator ?
Its very good and you won't face that kind of things in it.

I think its not a Plugin problem, May be Dreamhost guys just want to give you an excuse of downtime.

I also recommend using Hostgator. I tried lunar in the past. They simply saying some reason to down our sites. So, may be the problem is with the host not with the site. Usually the hosting people will keep quite even if you use huge resources until their money back guarantee period like 30 days. after that period they will not even allow you to run very small site. they will keep on down our sites and will say we are using huge resources. We LOSE the money :(

Then it's the hosting company. Call them and tell them exactly what's happening and they will fix it.

This is confirm that your host have issue but they not want to correct it. Even Wordpress 2.8.4 is also released yesterday. Update it then try once again! I am 99% sure that it's problem for your host!

i have 2 sites using Wordpress hosted on Dreamhost. Every time i have downtime which is hardly ever, they have never blamed a plugin, in fact im a little surprised they have.

There is a new wordpress update today, hopefully that will solve it.
