Hello, Im in with an experiment i have nice web2.0 type 10 year old name so i wanted to started a blog ,very big one will a wide range of categories -funny -videos -finance -webmaster -etc like update 10 blog post a day on different categories is this good idea to make all in one blog harsha
It is if you can market it, seo it in the proper way. In fact, I am working on a similar project. It is almost ready for takeoff.
I do not think so,but i would like suggest you to start you blog focus on one category.If you can market it than get start with other categories.
why not to hire someone to help you mount all these blogs? as for me(i have 50+ directories), I prefer to split rev between 10 people. And as a result all these directories bring me more money other then I was alone to manage them. I remember the time when i managed 10 dirs. it was a daily nightmare
If you are working on a single site. Then start off with one niche .. say business, get a hold in that niche, and then move to another on the same site, this way the second niche will become easier to rank for because of the trust factor of the domain. This is why any new page on sites like nytimes, etc.. ranks immediately on the first page for a keyword, without any seo. But, again - do what I said, if you are planning REALLY BIG and have a HUGE BUDGET!
if you are sure of updating them regularly and marketing them in the way like a very good brand...its sure going to be a money making machine
