Adbrite isn't the highest potential but a real nice income supplement. They have lots of CPM ads which is great and really relaxed on placement rules on pages. Since your dealing with advertisers directly. So the freedom to design the page you get compared to other CPM networks which require certain placement is definitely a big bonus.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I had Adbrite on a couple of my sites for a while, and the ads were horribly unrelated to my content, so I dumped it. Glad you're having some success though..keep it up.

Adbrite can be a great earner. Several sites that I own perform much better with Adbrite than Adsense. However, Adbrite is not set it and forget it. You will not have huge earnings with Adbrite if all you do is put up the code and put it on auto approve. Here are some tips to earn well from Adbrite:

    1. When adding your site describe the ad spot as best you can, with as many related keywords as possible. This helps advertisers find your site.
    2. Moderate your ads. If you set your ads to auto approve you must moderate them to keep the low paying advertisers out. If you set your ads to manual approve, it takes more time, but it is much better for your earnings.
    3. Adbrite works best on sites with more traffic. The more traffic you have the better it will perform, just like any network.

    I hope this has helped.

Abrite definitely pay more than Adsense. The only down side is that you need to wait 2-3 months for the check.

Maybe you didn’t read but you get to control with Adbrite what is going to be shown and what you wish to block. If they are nasty adds, don’t approve them. If they pay you .05 cents, don’t approve them.

Dont assume. Even though this was a complete bs reply and didnt deserve an answer Ill still let you know nich = insurance

If you got traffic and can get a decent CTR with Adbrite, you dont have to worry about the ads matching the content because unlike Adsense Adbrite doesn’t really read your content. The ads are shown based on your keywords that you place for each AdZone, hence you have more control.

Again I repeat don’t auto approve your ads. Go into a niche that is high paying and with a huge market, which Adbrite will most likely have tons of inventory for i.e. Health, Insurance, Debt, Real Estate you get the point. Deliver traffic, control the ads.

craiger22 agreed, everything that I am doing now!

Adsense is always going to be the best. For me, the best part about adbrite is the control. If you can be patient enough it is well worth it.

Hmmm.. No wonder my earning is very very low, I did the mistake as you said 'set it and forget it' on my first monetized website www.productinfodirectory.com

Cause my thought was adbrite system is the same like adsense.

Big thanks for the tips :)

Yep John Chow's site and the ads in theory are kind of like AuctionAds but they are more diverse from other resellers...Check em out on my site they're pretty clean.

Adbrite pays better than adsense, it's a little known secret. Google just pushes adsense soo hard that you would think it was the best, but it's not.

The fact that you can play $3 CPC bidders off against each other can be a good earner with adbrite.

With the same niche, I got pay $1-$2 per click from adbrite compare to only $0.01-0.02 from Adsense. Adsense is getting worse everyday.
