Ok this just proves how messed up CB's system is, and that it really can't be trusted. Also the TID that I got the sale with is not even in use any more Although I don't mind making sales without getting hops, I am sure it works both ways. Anyone else ever had this: What the!!
I'm guessing someone might've bookmarked the pay page before checking out reviews or whatever (these things do happen), if not a cookie sale...
I guess cookie sale is the only thing it could be, I did only change the links just a couple of days ago. hmmmmm.........
I've had them before, i think it is a delay in the CB reporting process. It did sort itself out later on.
It's actually very normal - I've had 3 sales with 0 hops before. If you don't get many hops daily for that product, users can come back for up to 60 days and you'll still get commission without them going through your pages again... N.
Stop messing with your damn TID's! lol, just kidding. I've noticed their reporting ain't 100%, I'm getting 'no tracking id' hops when all links out there have a tracking ID.
The tracking system's been bugging me lately. I would get the occassional hop once in awhile, but I've had 15 "no tracking code" in past 2 days. I also use ID's on all hops, no direct linking. All to landing pages. Anyone else seeing an increase or know what would cause tracking ID to be lost?
i've definitely seen an increase in the "no tracking code" ones lately ... they've always bugged me, i thought they were for one of my first attempts that i hadn't TIDed, but turns out they're for one product that is definitely all TIDed
I've had this happen before on a late night sale. I think the hop happened just before midnight and the sale happened just after midnight, so the system took a while to realize they were the same session and match the sale with the proper TID.
This is normal I've made 3+ sales with 0 hops many times. It's either cookie or your aff has a direct check out link.
I guess it's nothing to worry about though, considering they're reporting 3 sales for 0 hops in some cases shows that even though they're not reporting hops correctly, their sales tracking seems to be accurate.
I think there is nothing to worry about. It's a very good rate and I saw these kinds of things before. Can have several reasons but b sure that its a real sale
