*ALL* Clickbank sites BANNED from AdWords

As far as I know, AdWords is not allowing *ANY* clickbank products to be advertised.

And I'm not talking about affiliate advertising, I'm talking about a direct AdWords link to ANY website that uses clickbank as a payment processor.

If you use clickbank as your payment processor, you CAN NOT advertise your site on Adwords.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

The and frustrating thing is that google won't tell you this, although apparently, this person got them to admit it ::

    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/AdWords/thread?tid=29f0805b5828c680&hl=en

Personally, I have a site that is totally in compliance with AdWords terms and conditions, but they tell me it's the "business model" that is not allowed on AdWords, even though there are information products that are exactly the same that are running (but not with clickbank)

Here is the note from Google ::

"Thank you for your email. I understand you are concerned about the suspension of your site http://sales-rebuttal-guide.com/ Bob, our specialists have thoroughly reviewed your site and confirmed thatit unfortunately can't be promoted through your AdWords account. We'resorry to say that your site's business model isn't allowed to beadvertised using AdWords, so any amount of changes made to your siteprobably won't help in getting it re-enabled for AdWords. We hate to turn down any user, but we firmly believe that this decision isvital to our users' and publishers' experience -- and to the longer-termviability of our advertisers. As noted in our advertising Terms andConditions, Google may refuse any ad or terminate any ad campaign at anytime, for any reason. This only concerns our advertising and in no wayaffects the search results we deliver.Since your account is not suspended as yet, you can go ahead and advertisea different site with a different business model. However, please knowthat the current violation history will remain in your account. Therefore,to avoid future suspension of your account, please make sure your new sitecomplies with all our policies and guidelines.I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter."

Now look at this similar site that is running on AdWords :: http://easycoldcallingscripts.com/

It is an information product, with a very thin landing page (no content, no articles)

but they use paypal as a processor, and it's allowed on AdWords.

so ... I believe that AdWords bans sites outright if you use Clickbank as payment processor.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Thank you. ~ bob

Not exactly news here... Just use a landing page of your own... A worpress blog or something! Then have that completely abide to adwords rules with contact, privacy policy, disclosure etc... From ther you grab your prospects opt-in and/or redirect to your CB offer sales page...

So .. is it true that they simply don't allow pages that use Clickbank as the payment processor?

I am just trying to get this verified.

thanks fastcashmoney and hardnova for your input.

What's the deal with Clickbank and AdWords?? .. can anyone summarize it for 2012?

I'm not talking about hoplinks .. I'm talking about vendors running ads for their own sites.

    thanks!

Cool. That's the way I do it too! Google does all they can to crack down on affiliates (and Clickbank, sometimes understandable because of some very deceptive sales pages lol)... They HATE them, because they make money and google see's nothing from it theirself. ;)

Google does not like Clickbank sites at all.

You should NOT direct link to any Clickbank site EVER. End of story.

However, that does NOT mean you can't still promote Clickbank products using Adwords. You can. You just need to use your head a bit and think outside the box.

    :)

Facebook ads for Clickbank is not a good idea. the ROI simply sucks. Do some maths. the people on facebook are to socialize not to purchase , so if you are paying about 50 cents (for example) a click and converting at .5% (too good to be true on FB but still). You will need to spend 100$ to get 1 sale out of it.

Now if your product pays that much money per sale, that's well and good, if not , load up few hundred dollars in Ads and let us know the out come ;)
