I think it would be appropriate if you joined in the debates and took a stand on some of the more important issues. There are still a lot of very confused people and this industry needs the right sort of inputs. You stuffed up, you have been fingered and are in the perfect position to effect the changes that need to be made. Its not as if any of it is particularly complicated. Common sense mostly.

I dont think we have. I am training emerging directory masters and used your directory as an example of what a Trusted Directory should look like. It was a mistake and as far as I am concerned you have betrayed the trust placed in you by this community and this industry. You whether you like it or not have been marketed as an industry leader and all I could say to my directory master was that short term thinking will eventually catch up with you. And I have been proved right. And no I did not snitch on you and we have just carried on producing sites we believe in. As a matter of interest how would you rate Eco Guides ?

The question is why? Quality content? Editorial integrity? Indexed? Would it be fair to say that you are having a bit of difficulty getting to grips with the dynamics in the industry. Be that as it may, with all due respect the question was not directed at you.

Its all on record and Chris needs to understand that there are limits. Our workshop is a commitment. We are trying to make a difference and I don't appreciate being strung a line just because he doesn't know the difference between right and wrong and where to draw the lines. Together with Aviva he set himself up as one of the principal authorities in this industry, they have been caught short and do not have what it takes to face up to their responsibilities.

I had no problems making judgement. No mistakes on my side. I can spot a snake when I see one. But I did take the advice of someone whose judgement I trusted and I did start paging through Alive. It was included on a list of Trusted Sites which I questioned at the time and the rest is now history. Irrespective of how much has been spent on it, Alive is not a good directory let alone a quality directory.

It a crap directory just to coin a phrase thats so popular around here.
