    Ok. Here is the problem...

Web site works fine for EVERYONE except the client!

The site has been checked and double checked and I cannot recreate the same problem as the client.

The client is using a Dell laptop with dual monitor card but NOT using a dual monitor. Resolution is 1280x800 using IE7 and the site is out of alignment. Basically the menu bar is sliced so that the last option drops below the main listings

These settings have been checked and the site looks fine. The site looks fine even on a Mac!!!

I am pulling my hair out to find a solution.

Would really appreciate it if someone could check through the site and see if there is something that I have missed.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Does their page look like this? http://stommepoes.nl/brokenmenu.gif

I get that with FireFox 1.5 and I fix the problem by going down one text-size.

If it's text-size defaults which are setting this off, then maybe reduce the space between the menu items so the last one doesn't get bumped down... but then only one text-size increase will do it again, just so you know. : ) Since your clients are using IE7, they don't get much choice in text size-- it's either medium, large, or larger (or small or smaller, but who uses those?). Their medium is displaying bigger than yours, or your Mac's... or they are on Large but then one would expect the menu to break then and it would just be lived with. It's possible you are setting a range of fonts for font-family... Verdana is one that's known for displaying a hair larger than other fonts at the same "size." It's possible that you could fix this by changing the font list, maybe substituting another font?
