    I am not sure if this is the right area for Alexa questions...

    Alexa ranking is sometimes skewed because visitors must have the Alexa toolbar. Can anyone tell me how valuable you find Alexa Rank and how to increase your rank? (legally and ethically)

    Alexa analyzes the traffic rank of a website from other sources also. The toolbar seems to be just a small part of it. I find the rankings quite helpful most of the time but sometimes they look biased.

    You just need to install Alexa toolbar and join those Alexa boost site, or you can simply purchase those cheap crap traffic from alexa boost site

    Alexa rank denotes traffic. But Any body can manipulates Alexa rank......if you need accurate traffic source then, you can use Google Analytic tool.
