Today I saw the next picture for all my projects: I have no any changes in my visitors statistic... What's that?
I posted about it earlier today. I went from 24,000 to 100,000 to off the chart and back to 19,000 today. Don't worry, Google also shows a 3 month change of 5.7million as well. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=71459
me too i have from an aver5age around 25k to 30k a weekly average of 1,2M 25,342 1,233,703 24,098 down 5,733,724 may be just an april fool because for me it shows date 1 april ... since the virtual $ value of a domain depends at least to some high % on global traffic ranking by alexa - i guess the values all are depreciated as well a Google billion $ to a pocket money value ...
One of my website rank goes to 619874 from 510000. Oh my Alexa, What are you doing man. Regards, Amit Verma
I had exactly the same thing from Alexa around a month ago, so I looked at my actual stats and they were the same as always. The only thing I could put it down to is that less and less people are using the alexa toolbar because of all the spyware. I had it on my demo machine and it almost ground to a halt, I uninstalled it from both machines after that, I assume other people are doing the same and their ststs are only based on toolbar users.
What I have seen is that my best performance site displays "no information available at this moment" most part of the day since a week ago :O
Me too, me too. So glad I'm not the only one - I was wondering what was up. This same thing happened sometime over the holidays and was rectified about 2 days later.
something has changed at their systems. also, i have seen that they arent displaying daily numbers for sites with more than 100 k rank
my website rank shows: Today.......1 wk. Avg......3 mos. Avg......3 mos. Change 190,914......228,381..........190,116............347,129.... Is this good or bad ... I don't understand much of it
Basically, it means that today, you have the 190,914th most popular site on the Internet. (according to those who use Alexa toolbar) The lower your number the better. Google is usually 1,2 or 3. Hope that helps.
My site is currently ranked 85,571 but has supposedly 'fallen' by 5,261,021 in the past 3 months. This is obviously impossible. First google, now Alexa. Don't any of these companies know how to operate an efficient, reliable service ...
Looks like they were listening ... Alexa has now been fixed. Now, let's hope that Cutt's guy is reading this post ...
I think alexa would be a much more reliable tool if it wasn't so easily manipulated by installing the tool bar. I also had installed the toolbar for about a day, it interferred too much with my computer so I took it off.
I think someone had their hand on the scale while the measuring was being done! This was for one of my sites... wish it really was the daily page views!
