I just wrote this blog post after being redirected to porno sites while browsing Alexa top 500 global.

Yes I noticed it is doing that on one of my computer but on the other one it is sending me to random sites. I wonder if I have some sort of spyware that sends me to random sites instead of 404 pages......mmmmmmm

How did you come to the determination that Alexa was hacked?

Are you sure it wasnt just spyware playing around with your computer?
I suggest you download Spybot search & destroy and do a clean check then go back to Alexa and see if it still happens.

I think you have a searious MALWARE problem in your PC you might want to do a check, now as far as Alexa goes for a long time the site has had a problem where you click on a link for the top sites and it adds an aditional HTTP so if you go to MSN it will go to HTTPHTTP://WWW.MSN.COM instead of HTTP://WWW.MSN.COM.

    Check your PC!
