Alexa traffic guestimations

Anyone have their own thoughts on what certain alexa numbers equate to mine goes as follows

100-150,000 rank is roughly around 1K visitors per day


10,000 Rank is anywhere from 10-20K per day

and anything around 1-3000 rank is getting around 100K per day.

any one agree or have their own thoughts, i know alexa is highly inaccurate but i still use it to get a BROAD approximation of traffic.

The 100-150,000 rank sounds about right to me, from my prior sites.

 

I get well over 300 a day and I'm stuck at 950k. Think it might be due to my users not having the toolbar though

 

i got 512 uniqs this month and my Alexa rank is 715,000

 

I get about 100 a day and am at 200,000k and still decreasing...

 

Nope...lower.. Mine has 92K and my traffic is around 6K impressions per day.

 

Sounds about right - I've also noticed that it depends on the niche, some users in specific niches use the Alexa toolbar more than others.

 

I am not using alexa toolbar... just some search status plugins for firefox.

 

Here's some stats from my sites:

Site #1 - Alexa 93,000 - 85,000 uniques/month - 200,000 page views/month
Site #2 - Alexa 230,000 - 40,000 uniques/month - 72,000 page views/month
Site #3 - Alexa 430,000 - 40,000 uniques/month -130,000 page views/month
