Alexa thumbnails for directories

I have seen that in recent days Alexa thumbnails for directories not working anymore. I just came across this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/browse.html?node=236156011

It seems someone has to comeup with another good idea of providing thumbnails

 

Do a search here and you will find someone has already got the fix in!

Draws from MSN now (more up to date than alexa ever was).

I'm currently working on a thumbshots service, you can see how it running on my directory : http://directory.helpedia.com

It will be free for sites with low traffic (something like 2-300 visitors daily) provided that a backlink will be in the page footer or somewhere on the site and will offer a (small) flat fee/year for higher volumes. Something like 15-30 $/year.

It will be ready for beta in about 2 weeks, I'll issue accounts for DP members willing to test it when ready for beta stage.

I see they quickly pick up thumbshots for newly created site, but how often do they update each thumshot afterwards? some of thumbshots taken by them have been outdated for weeks.
