So today I was looking at the Alexa stats for my site and they have all plummeted recently for seemingly no reason. Looking my percentages for 3 months compared 1 months check it out:

    Traffic Rank

    1 Month: 1,487,204
    3 Month: 413,969

    Reach

    1 Month: Down 60%

    Page Views

    1 Month: Down 92%

    Page Views/User

    1 Month: Down 60%

    Bounce

    1 Month: Up 96%

    Time On Site

    1 Month: Down 63%

This is baffling to me. According to the site tracker, traffic is the same. So why are all my Alexa stats suddenly tanking? My website is http://www.alexsdbzrpg.com and any help in this matter would be appreciated greatly.

well it sounds as though your recent month is the problem. Think about any changes that have been made to the site. This would include promotional efforts, where you promoted, email marketing tactics (possibly sending them more frequently), or even the little things like moving things around on your website.

Take the time to brainstorm it and see what you come up with. We imagine you will be able to pinpoint it and fix it. Good luck

That's the thing, nothing has really changed. Traffic has stayed the same pretty much. Here is our traffic for last month and the one before it.

    July: 33,113 uniques / 228,422 hits

    August: 31,960 uniques / 223,443 hits

Also when I try to check out the Alexa statistics for one of our biggest competitors, aside from just seeing their traffic rank, all their other stats are broken now. After taking forever to load, it just says "We do not have enough data to display this information." It's weird because before all this started happening they DID have enough data. Could this be a problem with Alexa rather than my site itself and is anybody else having similar issues?

Edit: I did notice one thing that changed in our Alexa page it used to have the forum.alexsdbzrpg.com as a subdomain. Now it just says "OTHER." Perhaps Alexa no longer counts traffic on subdomains? We get a lot of traffic on our forums so that could be it...
