I am looking at Alexa information on competitors and noticed with interested the related sites section. However, I am slightly suspicious not knowing how this information is collected. Does anybody know? It looks to me as though this information is volunteered by site owners. Also can anybody point me to information on how to interpret the rankings and reach figures.
