My Alexa ranking is dropping quickly. I never did use it much-- however I cannot figure out why it is dropping so suddenly and quickly. Any ideas? Q...
Alexa = Useless. Alexa = Spyware. Don't waste your time or effort with Alexa, there ranking reports are just a "front" for their spyware activities. What activites you say? They use all data recieved from the Alexa toolbar to sell to marketing analysis companies and such, which is what spyware companies do. Don't be fooled, less than %0.5 of web vistors use the Alexa toolbar, making rankings inaccurate.
It is true, but ssandeki, please don't say anything if it is not productive. Most ad companies still look at Alexa for pricing etc. so it is still important even though the amount of visitors that use it is only a small percentage.
My friend I don't know why you are searching for a stone when you have gold in front of you. Why alexa when google is there. There are only few visitors using alexa toolbar and very few companies who do adds, these both are either new or not aware of the disadvantage and limitation of it. So better try google.com Cool mate
