Alexa Ranking Going up..

    Is this good for a recent forum that was just started 1-2 weeks ago...

    Alexia Rank from few days before -> 3,507,800
    June 25th -> 2,352,254
    June 29th -> 1,700,950

    Is it a webmaster related forum? If yes, then it is not good, as it should be better than 1.7 million :eek: You should be around 300,000 or better if it is a webmaster forum.

    Going up is always good. You can make it go up even faster by visiting your site more with the alexa toolbar installed.;) The more you visit the more it goes up.

    mate its always better to have a better rank
    it actualy upgrades or downgrades itself by the way of visitors and uniques
    so it means that your site is improving though you will need to get in something like 300000

    If that is good or not depends if you have Alexa installed and are visiting the site often yourself. You can easily achieve a sub 1 million Alexa score with yourself being the only visitor. On the other hand if those Alexa numbers are "pure" meaning that it is only from 3rd party visitors that is a great start.
