My best site is around 400K. MikeInvest.com has recently been ranked by alexa (maybe today?!) - it's online for a month or so and has now an incredible 2,900,044
Im around 200,000 for one of my sites that is a month old and the only traffic I am getting is from people responding to my recirocol link requests. So actually I have no traffic. Or very little.
I got a site , but its Top Secret . BTW my yahoo group is at 189164 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BestTextForwards/ It is also at 575587 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/besttextforwards/
Article Depot is 51,000 I could install the toolbar and lower it but I would rather have a high ranking then have that on my browser
FreshDames is currently at 101950 which has dipped after I uninstalled the useless Alexa toolbar. Alexa computes traffic rankings by analyzing the Web usage of millions of Alexa Toolbar users.
This isnt really about ranking (well not until you are high up - low numbers) To check your ranking in Google, Yahoo and MSN use the tools button on the top navigation and select the keyword position tracker.
No. Its in the tools menu of Digitalpoint.com. It takes 2 minutes to register. You can check your site's rank - if its in top 200 for any keyword / phrases. Alexa is all about websites and traffic that they get. Search engines are about individual pages and their relevance to our searches.
My travel is at 79,577 (10:11 am cst) My new game site 75,915 from a 1,896,974 3 month change. Even if it Alexa ranking is worth peanuts, I like it
Just playing with Alexa, I realized that yo can get the top 10,000 and top 100,000 list. But wait... the top 10,000 cost ya $999 and the top 100,000 cost ya $2,499. WOW... see here http://pages.alexa.com/prod_serv/top_sites.html What would you do with the top 100,000 list?
My ranking has gotten 100% better in the last 24 hours ... the 3 mos. average is the same (101,950) but it's spiked up to 46,881 for "today" ... this has happened before, but this time I think I know why: I did a PR on my site that was released yesterday and it has produced lots of interest and extra traffic.
26 641 for totalwebtalk.com. Congrats Shawn on the Alexa ranking for DigitalPoint. This site is definitely competing with some of the big boys on the web.
Fancy sharing your press release tactics? Where do you release them to? Understood if you're reluctant - Jamie
Indeed, alexa rankings are meaningless... at least damn near meaningless. I'm surprised anyone still even looks at those.
