Whats the basic and the foremost difference between Alexa Ranking and Google Page Ranking? Which is the best for flipping websites?
Both of them help you make fool of people who don't really understand SEO. Dont waste ur time on them. Concentrate on building a good site.
Alexa based on traffic you have while PR is show represent somekind like site reputation but it does not related to your SERP...
u sure if PR is no relationship to SERP? based on what do u say that? if PR is jus about site reputation in Google's view, then what is this "site reputation" for?
No offense. But you can search a lots of site ranking top in Google doesn't have PR... Try to do more searches... I have seen PR0 rank 1 in Google over 2 millions searches before the updates that's really make the site having PR... And, many more... A high Page Rank site doesn't mean you gonna rank well on SERP... Honestly, PR doesn't help ranking... And, by the way, if a site reputation is for SERP then, this you means that PR is for SERP? How sure you are before asking me more further? Haha
PageRank is a patented method to assign a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents. Alexa computes traffic rankings by analyzing the Web usage of millions of Alexa Toolbar users. The information is sorted, sifted, anonymized, counted, and computed, until, finally, the traffic rankings are calculated that are shown in the Alexa service.
PR is a useful shorthand to show how many links a site has and what it's potential could be for income. If someone wants to buy a site it can't hurt to know how much Google likes it. Alexa is a ranking system who some (myself included) would question it's accuracy. But my experience is that noone uses Alexa except for business owners who like to think they're better than the competition if they have a higher Alexa rank. Personally, if I buy a site, I'm concerned about unique visitors per month, monthly site income and any good keyword rankings in Google, because those things aren't arbitrary measurement systems, they're real numbers that mean something that's easily measurable and understood.
I've never relied on Alexa. I prefer Google PR. But when it really comes to SEO and giving our site a boost, I rely on the SERPs. Google PR doesn't really matter when it comes to getting on the top pages of the search results. I've come across lots of sites with low PR and are number one in the SERPs.
Well how to get a good SERP (is this Search Engine Ranking Position?) at Google. Is that getting your website to the 1st pages of Google Results for a particular keyword, is called as SERP? Please detail me.
