does alexa rank shows exact traffic details on your website.Is their any other tool to measure traffic details of my website...

I don't think so.Alexa not show real status.
Alexa data depends on its tool bar installation.

 

alexa is not as consistent as what it display to measure the right traffic to your website i highly suggest you use google analytics or statcounter

 

Alexa ranks are no way close to real traffic stats, and as already suggested you should opt for GA or statcounter code to check the actual traffic, source, destination and other several parameters. One can also install AWStat or other open source tools.

Alexa ranking depends upon users who have installed
a. Alexa widget on site
b. Alexa toolbar for browser

So if a site has 100 users and only 10 users had alexa toolbar installed, alexa would assume that you only had 10 (+/- some factors) visitors which is not true!!!

 

Well for public stats other than Alexa then try Compete.

alexa is very strange tool it is good to see the geography of your visitors

 

IMHO Alexa is terrible tool - almost no use in the information provided. I use it only if the data can help to convince the potential client.

 

Google Analytics is by far the best. You can see all kinds of metrics using that tool, I love it. Also check out their website optimizer tool, you can use this for split-testing and make sure your site is really optimized.

 

I have to agree, Google Analytics is superior. It is free, easy to use and gives you great information.

 

I hate compete it don't believe in it as traffic tool

My site rising in traffic every month and Google analytic and statcounter showing this and it show down its not good at all

 

As far as I used Alexa Rank., it doesn't give you the exact result else it's give you a result which is only approximately to the true result.

 

Google Analytics is the best hands down.

No! Alexa ranking is never accurate. It can be easily manipulated for as long as you have the toolbar installed. I suggest you rely only on the stats given by Google Analytics.

 

Yeah that can be a help., but there are also some application that gives you accurate result.
