Alexa Rank vs Real Website Traffic

Hi, does anybody know if there is some way to estimate real website trafic as function of alexa rank? I saw many sites that claim their traffic "xxxx visitors/per day" but alexa rank is 700,000+. I have website with about 400 visitors per day and its alexa is about 350,000. Any suggestions?

 

i have +2000 per day and my alexa is 500.000.

problem is that it is not representative enough

 

For alexa rank, if the nubmer is bigger than 10k, it's useless. I only got 50 unique visitors/day, but my alexa rank is 210961. While my friend has 200K unique/visitors per day, his alexa rank is only 45000.

 

Because lower the alexa - Better.

But anyway alexa is can be manipulated easily.

 

I have 10 on a good day and mine is 600,000

 

i got per day around 40 -50 unique my alexa is 270000.
i don't know how they are calculating alexa rank.

 

yeah alexa rating is not 100% accurate... some of my sites that has 100 times traffic as the other still have a lower alexa ranking

 

Is alexa web traffic result accurate?

 

Alexa is based purely on the people who visit websites with an alexa toolbar

Therefore it is very inaccurate and should not be used to judge traffic

 

my website traffic increased by 20% but my Alexa ranking dropped by 10k in January.
