Alexa rank service review

    If you are selling product or service Alexa rank is not that important. Average user will not consider Alexa ranking to decide the value of a website. If you are trying to sell your domain Alexa ranking is important. If Alexa ranking can manipulate by paying money how can someone trust Alexa rank ?

    so how does it work? a dozen or so people download the alexa toolbar and browse your site all day?
    do e-commerce customers (or, the majority of them) even check alexa rankings or know what it is?

    I am one guilty of checking it before making a purchase, but owning a website, it's just a thing i do.
    would the average buyer even do that?
