Guys, I changed the domain of my blog from http://bearockr.blogspot.com to http://www.bearockr.in just a couple of days ago and I have done 301 redirect for it. But, actually, through my previous domain, I had an Alexa rank of about 3.5 lac, which is still intact for the previous domain and is going on well , but when i check for my new domain(bearockr.in), It displays a new rank of about 45 lac ! I have still as many visitors to my blog, then why does the new domain display a new poor rank of the blog?? The blog is still the very same, only the domain has changed, then why does it display a new rank altogether?? Do I have to start from the beginning to build up my traffic rank again ! ?? Or is there someway to notify alexa that both of my domains point to the same website ??

    Plz help me out ..

While you change domain, you need to be assure that your pages will take time in indexing in G. Other thing what i am facing right, after doing domain change, is that the Alexa ranking is taking time to improve.

You should only concentrate in getting traffic from your previous sources, rest Alexa will update every ranking and other stuff.
