I don't understand their "Percent of global pageviews" statistics. They don't make sense. Why don't they just give the number of hits per site?
alexa rnk is very useful for the advertisers all the intrested advertisers will directly go to websites who are having high amount of visitors which can be easily determined from alexa rank
It seems like Alexa has been pretty useless lately. There are better tools available for free that do a much better job at estimating important statistics for your webpage. I have never paid for Alexa so that version could be much more reliable. But from what I have seen of the free version anyone can use on their site, it is not very useful. Unless you just want a very general idea of where your webpage stands compared to others from around the internet.
