I know alexa rank is not accurate.. But How much average traffic i need to achive 50k or something alexa rank for a health website? How much i can earn from it then?
You need people that have the Alexa toolbar installed, not normal visitors. For example a health site should have a lot of visitors because these visitors usually are average internet users which don't have the Alexa toolbar installed. Advertising on webmaster forums is the key to a good Alexa ranking, since tons of webmasters use the toolbar to see other websites' rankings. I've had proxies that reached over 3,000 visitors daily with an Alexa ranking of 12,000,000 and I've also had a webmaster related blog with a maximum of 200 unique visitors, that had an Alexa ranking of 165,000 if I remember well. Don't concentrate to much on Pagerank and Alexa though, they are just numbers. The only reason some people really care about Alexa is so they could sign up to AdToll if I remember will, since AdToll only allow advertisements on websites with an Alexa ranking less than 100K Greetz!
oks dats right.. Well i have seen 1 health site which has alexa rank of around 10k .... Approx how much visitors it is getting/day ? Just estimate.
