thats strange...they must have been picked up on this before now, as it is agains't the law. Guess people should make their sites more secure to protect agains't this (it's not hard...)

surely it could be secured by using cookies, storing a cookie and then only allowing people who have that cookie see the download page. Guess it would raise more problems doing it this way, like if people didn't have cookies enabled.
There are a few ways of doing this. You can even stop Alexa from indexing certain pages. I guess people just can't be bothered or they don't realise the dangers. Kinda like 95% of all php scripts out there having security holes.
which kinda is true... i mean ok if I have a product to sell why do I keep it on a public page? when its so easy to just email a download link or the product attached to the email...
hasnt been there cases where professors and specialists complain and write letters and take legal actions for having their pdf and most files exposed in searches ?
This is not hacking. You are only looking at a public page that everyone else in the world has access to. Its just you were not suppose to find it.
