Hi all , it's known that alexa ranking is one of the most used ranking in estimating a website activity i just created http://www.bluecirclet.com/ 3 days ago and i got some good visits for starting blog , about 170 perday no stumble or any other communities just comments and links back from other blogs but the problem is about the alexa rank for my site . it's still not ranked there i've had other blogs and it's now totally inactive and still ranked 7 or 8 mil i even has that blog on wordpress.com , that ranked 5 mil things i did . alexa sparky [ installed ] widget [ installed ] website info [ added to alexa directory ] any suggestions ?
LOL , i do thought about that for sometime and i know that there is a better stats that matter more than alexa but i'm wondering Why !?
Alexa statistics aren't accurate and it's very easy manipulated. So it's useless from visitor viewers. For webmasters there are dozens of better stats tools. So it's useless for webmasters also .
vnviews : yup that is what i found the past 2 days , many people said it's useless and doesn't give the correct rank .
You're right about Alexa (*cough* SPYWARE *cough*), but PageRank does have its uses - it's an indicator of how popular a Web page is based on the number, quality, and relevance of links pointing back to it.
actually guys i'm already feeling something not right about alexa right now , can some one confirm to me whether i'm right or wrong !? i noticed the forums alexa rank yesterday [ about 300 + now it's 900 + ] am i right or wrong ?
Alexa's useless. DO you really want to believe that the W3C is more popular than CNN.com? (Because if you do, that's exactly what Alexa will tell you.) Don't worry about it.

ignore alexa. there are better ways to measure your sites activity, like google analytics or statcounter.
