Alexa equal traffic

Hey friend,

Please tell me if the Alexa is showing =100000 then how many traffic is coming/visiting per day(avg).
please let me know.

traffic can be 100 with alexa ranks below 100k, or you may have thousands of visits but no alexa ranks!!
alexa ranks can not be used to predict traffic!!

 

That was always my understanding as well.

 

There is no relations between Alexa ranking and traffic. You need to reply on other tools to get traffic per day to your website.

 

Alexa only tracks the user traffic of those people that have their tool bar installed. I have yet to meet someone has one installed so all the stats are unreliable.

 

That's not true, there is some correlation, but at best you can approximate it

 

i saw another post on this that showed certain SEO sites have great alexa rankings because people that are interested in SEO tend to download the tool bar significantly more than a normal person and therefore visit SEO sites more frequently. So yea, not a great traffic estimator

 

Right, Alexa only counts visitors with toolbars. So that's why tech related sites rank low because users are more likely to have toolbars.

 

alexa traffic is not exact its based on people using thier toolbar

Your hosting server' stats are the best pointers!

 

Alexa is not accurate in terms of determing traffic don't rely on it use other SEO tools to compare traffic...

 

Try Google Analytics, gives you some really nice traffic facts.
With graphics and stuff, pretty much all I need to know about my websites.
