I'm hoping this is the best place to post this. Alexa is pulling the title and description information for websites from ODP/Dmoz. I tried contacting them but they seem a little slow in replying. Does anyone know of anyway around this?
You can actually edit it yourself. Pull up your website and then click the icon (about 2 inches to the right) that says "edit info"
The only information that I can edit is the contact info. Where there used to be an open window for the site name and description is now this:
I think you used to be able to edit descriptions as well. Too bad they are relying on an unreliable source like ODP.
@bigp-Yeah I know. It really doesn't make any sense. I tried contact Alexa but they say they are backlogged so they're really slow in responding about this. @blueboxer- I hope this is not a permanent change. If it is, then they really are doing webmasters a disservice.
