Alexa.com: Page rank drop, why?

I noticed lately that my page rank in alexa.com has dropped steadily in the past few days. Could this be due to the software link i used to promote my rank to the top from a pr of 2,502,488 to a pr of 298,994?
For now, i have stopped using it so as to know what the problem is.
    Pls comment!

Right, who cares? You should have tracking code installed on your website. That should tell you a lot about your visitors. Your traffic and income stats. are the only things that matter. Alexa guesstimates a lot so their numbers are all over the place.

There is a blog with just 11,000 uniques per month and have an Alexa ranking of 30k-ish. My blog has over 60k uniques per month and score only slightly over 100k in Alexa ranking. Go figure.

sorry, if i posted on wrong thread. if you are refering to adding a google analytic tracking code on my blog, i have that already.

but i'm more concerned whether my PR drop was partly due to the software i used to promote my page rank. any idea?

I have one with about 50k visitors a month and it ranks 2.8 million (26k in Australia though). Its VERY hit and miss.
