Alexa auto surfing?

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of Surf sieve and if it seems to increase Alexa ranking?

Thinking of using this for new sites to boost the rankings in the first month or so and by then would rely on backlinks and content entirely. As we all know fake traffic is no good in the long run.

IMO you should start focusing on backlinks and good content now rather than try to inflate your Alexa ranking. Just having a high ranking isn't going to help you at all, but have quality content and ranking well for terms because of backlinks will naturally increase your Alexa ranking.

It would be running somewhere else while backlinks are being created just as a kindof passive rank boost very short term. Mostly I am wondering if the program above is any good or if the autosurfs even do anything at all.

I have tried autosurf.org and a few others for increasing alexa rank, they had no effect whatsoever.

I think if you are going to pay for "traffic" you should try to balance the cost against traffic that might actually stay and take action.

I am investigating pop-unders, but from real, established companies like fastclick, they can be had pretty inexpensive now and at least the traffic may actually take an action

I've tried one before and as far as I can tell it did nothing. It wasn't worth my time.

Falsely inflating stats gets you nowhere long term.
