You know that I actually thought the same thing and I probably wont visit 90% of the sites that I've clicked on but there are a few that were actually quite interesting and I'd probably never come across them if it weren't for this site.

This is a really bad investment for the advertisers. You'll get a van load of traffic - but no real conversions. The whole concept of the site is to pointlessly click on pixels, close the page before it loads up and then click on more pixels.

So you're down at least $200 for the minimum order of pixels, and then you're down for the wasted bandwidth from uninterested surfers and clicking scripts, you're also only guaranteed 1 month of exposure. I think it's a bad investment personally.

Exactly what i tried to say mate, buyers are basicly paying to have their sites spamed by pointless clicks. (with a few excepts of people who just checkout somthing they see interesting -- most will click for the main reason of the site. to win the mill)

i dont think any of the advertisers will get a good roi from this at all. in my opinion what a waste to who have bought. especially the ones that have paid about $10.000

Lastminute.com will see value from their advert just from the amount of people who will see it.

It seems to have stalled around the $130K mark. Now, not to say that I wouldn't be very happy with a $130K revenue in a week, but I thought it would be filling up quicker than the rate it has so far.

Wow. Giving $1 million away so he can make another million.

It's crazy how some people don't see the underlying ideas.

IMHO, the idea is total crap for the advertisers who will getting 1-5 second traffic, unless of course they want to boost their alexa rank.

I give him credit for the first idea, but this one is far from original. (One of the many pixel followers made this idea public weeks after the launch of MDHP)

I'm doing that with a ferrari. Everyone thinks my site is a "scam" though because the goals are set so high. It launched before all this crazy stuff happened with Alex Tew and that girl that got the free laptop. My rates start at $10 and nobody is into it. Its really depressing.

"yes, dont do pixel-site-with-a-twist! I want to do that, so knowbody jump in and beat me!"

I didnt realise, but ads on this site will only be shown for 1 month, then emptyed to start again??? (once the board is full)

That means you wont even get the PageRank from this new site, like you did from the MDHP. damn

I remember Smash My Viper. I thought it was one of the better ones - at
least a bit original and with some decent money invested into it. His last
blog entry claims a big finale in the very near future.. and that was last
    March.

The problem with all these copycats is that they're just that - copycats.
The originality is what made the original a success, and these guys just
don't have it. For anyone thinking of getting into pixels - check out this
    guide.

Oh for goodness sake. No one is cheating anyone here. The advertisers know what they are getting into. Can you prove that the advertisers are getting no sales?

Gotta give him credit, he's milking his original idea for all it's worth and well he should. I signed up to win the $1,000,000 but in all honesty I don't wait for the pages to load although I'm sure by the time I close the page it registered as a visitor.

IMHO this time around I think it has very little value buying pixels unless you can get a big enough block to make your URL visible like lastminute.com did.

Does anyone have any tips on how to make your square stand out nicely on pixelotto? I'm only going to buy a single square at the moment and was thinking of some sort of smiley face - anyone know if you can use animated images?
